When on the Boreal Life Trail’s wooden boardwalk at the Paul Smiths College Visitor Interpretive Center in the Adirondacks we saw this nice Dragonfly. He was perched on the weathered boardwalk and resting on the boards out of the wind for a moment. He let me get quite close without flying away in the Sphagnum Moss Marsh.
