Santa Claus, also known as  Saint Nicholas or  Father Christmas and by other names,  takes on different meanings in different countries and regions around the world.  Santa Clause is popular in many  parts of the world as that nice old man who travels the world on Christmas Eve bringing gifts to deserving children.

Around  the world, gifts are  delivered at Christmas time  by  different kinds of ‘Santas’  and in different ways.  In some countries like the United kingdom, the United States of America and and many others, Santa looks similar in appearance and the delivery of gifts is by a certain mode of transportation.
