There are hundreds of thousand of bridges around the world and  the US alone accounts for some 600,000. And while millions of people cross bridges every day there are many bridges to nowhere. Bridges serve an essential service by moving goods, services and people  from one place to another. I am sure there are some nowhere bridges just about everywhere. Bridges come in many shapes and sizes, some are made of stone, wood and glass. Some swing, others open, float or suspend.
