I thought it would be fun to create a quiz about space; specifically the planets. How much do you remember from elementary school where you learned all about our 8 planets in the solar system. Which is the closest to the sun? The furthest? Which is the biggest? Which one has rings? Take the quiz to see what you know!
I may do more space quizzes soon if you all enjoy this one!

12 out 14
That’s good! Thanks for playing 🙂
Got 11.. Hahah
That’s pretty good. Thanks for playing!
10 here…haha cool quiz…deserves a part two 😉
Thank you…I’ll try to do one soon 🙂
Cute quiz, but there are a couple points. First, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus all have rings. Those of Saturn are just most noticeable. Second, Saturn has more satellites than any other planet because every particle in the rings is a satellite that is in orbit. As for moons, according to NASA, Saturn has 53 moons that we know of. Neptune and Uranus both have 27 known moons.
Thanks for the pointers….true some things weren’t 100% correct, but not completely false either. Just wanted it to be a fun quiz.
You are quite welcome. Until we started sending probes to get closer looks, we didn’t know that the gas giants all had rings. As for moons, I’m betting that more moons will be discovered. 🙂
Well that’s definitely good to know. and thanks, that’ll be helpful for my next space quiz 🙂
Great quiz, although I would argue the first question’s answer.
Thank you. It is correct, although there could be more than 1 correct answer. Some answers I realize could be true for different questions.
8 correct
Thanks for taking my quiz!
10/14 great quiz, and please make more like this! On a matter of detail, #12 Isn’t earth known as ‘the blue planet’? #14 I really don’t understand. Surely Venus, Mercury, Mars and Earth all spin all the time?
Yeah, I agree.
Thank you.
And yes, after making the quiz I realize some questions could have more than 1 answer. I guess I should have mentioned which is mostly known for certain things (like the blue planet, or which one spins all the time)

Thanks for taking my quiz. Might have got more had I explained better!
I got a 13/14. I did not like problem 12. Uranus and Neptune are both blue.
and earth!
Yes, I understand….I should have explained better.

13/14. It’s very challenging!
Thank you for playing…13 is great!
