Trees: a quiz

What would the world be like without trees? Probably somewhere that we would not find to our liking, given everything they do for us. Take the trees away – as happens for example in wildfires – and the land can become subject to devastating mudslides, as happened in California early in 2018. Trees play a major role in regulating climate – the loss of forests in South America and eastern Asia have had a huge impact in this respect, not to mention the impact such losses have had on wildlife.
