Just as there are a huge number of interesting facts about the planet we live on, there are a great number of curiosities regarding space. Many things you might already know. Many other facts might surprise you. Let’s see how much you know about space.

  1. Got 7 out of 10 right. Some of my right answers were calculated guesses. Did miss quite a few like the one on rotation of planets. The teaspoon question was nice though it might give me jitters when I take coffee powder in a tea spoon next time. Great quiz.

    • That would give a person a momentary pause, thinking about it, wouldn’t it? lol The stuff would be incredibly dense. An atom is 97% space and there is space between atoms, so taking away all the space would make a huge difference.

    • Yes, we get used to the optical illusion of the sun looking like it is the same size as the moon. From the earth, it is hard to tell that the moon is about a quarter of a million miles away while the sun is 98 million miles away.
