Rules and Exceptions

My parents talked a lot about the rule of the law and the spirit of the law. I don’t think I really understood what they were talking about until I was much older. It was interesting because my mother and father were differing on the way they interpreted these terms. I think it  would be interesting to see where.

  1. You got: You don’t really even know the law exists.
Ok, if I didn’t come one for a while, I’m probably in jail :p

  2. Live by the letter of the law, but I can think of a few options that I’d take that weren’t offered. I also stop to allow pedestrians to cross the road even if they are jaywalking.
