    • Good score! Way to go! It seems like everywhere we’ve lived, there have been deer. We have quite a few that we see almost every day, even during the winter.

  1. I know about wild animals because my ex-husband was a hunter. The deer’s meat is very lean and needs to be prepared according to special recipes. You got 7 out of 10 right!

    • Very good score! Yes, venison is far leaner than beef. People have to actually add fat to it if they want venison burgers. LOL I’ve been eating venison since I was first able to eat solid foods.

      • Yes, the deer were imported and bred well. Unfortunately they had a huge part of destroying our native forrests and the habitat for our unique native species. There have been people hunting deer in our forrests and some were captured alive to so that deer farms have evolved over the years.

    • That is a very good score! Quite a few people don’t know about the hollow hair, but it is also the reason that a moose is buoyant enough that it can easily walk through deep, icy water.
