Are you a grammar pro? I know I am not. I suck at grammar. But I had a lot of fun making this quiz for you all and I even learned a few things from it. I hope you all enjoy the little grammar quiz. I always had a hard time with these when I was in school and always was corrected and still do.

Great quiz! I got one wrong (I marked scissors as plural, but I agree you’re right) Tricky enough 🙂
Reviewing plurals and singulars :- ) is a useful exercise, especially when a tricky one is thrown in. People was the one I needed a review on!
7 out of 8. Great quiz
Good quiz JennyC !!!!!!
5/8! I hoped I would get them all right actually. Great quiz!
I missed one
great quiz
Glad I passed. My eighth grade English teacher would have turned in her grave if I missed any of those 8!
I knew all the answers, but somehow one I’m sure I marked plural got scored as singular.
people, persons, person I thought people was plural for person. But if the plural for goose is geese the plural for moose should be meese! Right?
I agree with Kim, pretty sure people is the plural of person…
People is the plural of person, but also the singular of people/peoples (as in, Slavic peoples, Celtic peoples, etc.) so I think it’s correct this is marked as both.
I’d forgotten about the collective
Got them all correct! 🙂
Came back for a second round!
i have no way to edit to fix
got 7 out of 8 right!
6 out of 8. What is the singular of sheep 🙂 and singular of people?
for sheep and people is really both
