Here’s a quiz to test your knowledge of the current affairs. The statements comprising the questions in the quiz are actual headlines. You have to fill the blank with the name of the country where the particular event has taken place in recent weeks.

    • Opinion is a bit divided even in turkey. Some women feel safer travelling in all-female buses. Some feels it shows how untrustworthy Turkish men are. But as a woman, I would prefer travelling in an all femail bus anytime

  1. Just 3/8 – I’m here in India where they celebrated Diwali two nights ago. I’m presuming this festival is the one that sparked debate over the use of fireworks. Jodhpur, the city I’m in, definitely has no ban on them anyway, the sky has been completely lit up with fireworks for 2 days now

    • I think It was banned in capital New Delhi by Supreme Court because of air pollution. But as people consider fireworks an integral part of Diwali celebrations, I am not sure how effective the ban was.
