How much do you know about the United States of America?

I’ve watched several television shows lately in which foreigners come to America for a visit and are amazed by the experience. One of the things they notice is the size of the country. It takes about six hours to fly from New York to Los Angeles and another four to get to Honolulu.

There are a lot of things Americans take for granted that don’t happen in other countries. One that stuck in my head is that you get free refills for soft drinks in restaurants.

  1. You’ve put together some fun random facts. Every country is amazing, each with it’s own unique characteristics to be proud of or maybe not-so-much. :- ) America’s size results in that fact being notable and you’ve hit on a few of the highlights. You got me on the pilot’s license.
