Thank you so much, LaJenna!
I meant 6 out of 9 not 19 lol
No problem, I realized it’s a typo.
Got 7 out of 10 right
Good job and thanks for playing!
9 out of 10. A very good quiz to let people learn about pregnancies!
Thanks for playing! Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you Ellie. I enjoyed it!
Glad to hear that!
You got 7 out of 10 right! Great quiz
Thank you so much!
Good thing I am not pregnant I only got 5 right. Plus it has been 20 years since I lived with a pregnant person.
Ice Cream was the primary driver for the last pregnancy!
Hehe, thanks for playing! Things are getting more and more complicated.
I got 7 out of 10! Great quiz…very informative.
Good job and thanks for playing!
3/10 bad
Thanks for playing, I hope the quiz was informative!
Thank you so much!
You got 9 out of 10 right! I did a great job. It was interesting to me. I have not forgotten a lot of things. And 38 came out of my first pregnancy.
Perfect score, thanka for playing! I’m sure you are a great mother and grandmother!
You got 5 out of 10 right!
Not so bad.
But in fact, all that is somewhat different from my experience during my pregnancy before.
Haha, did you eat only chocolate? 😀 Thanks for playing!
Aye Ma’am…
8/10 here. Interesting to see the changes since I was pregnant 30 years ago.
Good job and thanks for playing, Kim! Did you notice some huge differences?
Yes, seafood, sprouts, caffeine, liver have all changed
I see, thank you for answering!
I got 7/10..didn’t know that raw sprout isn’t safe to eat during pregnancy…
Actually, Ellie, when you say sprouts, do you mean Brussels sprouts, or sprouted seeds?
That’s a good point, I meant the latter. Honestly, I’m not sure whether Brussels sprouts are eaten raw (maybe it depends on the country), but in general, all raw fruits and vegetables should be washed very carefully.
I would think this refers to Alfalfa Sprouts…there was a recent salmonella outbreak associated with raw alfalfa sprouts…
Not only those; clover, radish, and mung bean sprouts too. They should be okay after they are cooked though.
Unfortunately, they could carry harmful bacteria. Thanks for playing!
Nice quiz, Ellie. I got 8 right. Our knowledge continues to evolve. I remember when organ meat was recommended on a daily basis to pregnant women. No doubt, some of our current views will change in time too 🙂
Thank you, Norman! The more knowledge we have, the more confusing everything gets, haha. I guess it can also depend on the type of organ meat and the amount. For example, some doctors comepletely forbid eating liver, but others advise pregnant women with iron deficiency to eat it twice a week.
Yes – I have a favourite quote from my famous compatriot, Oscar Wilde: “Everything in moderation – including moderation!” 😉
Well said!
Got 8 out of 10
Good job!
5/10 Interesting quiz Ellie.
Thank you so much Gina!
6/10 – interesting quiz. Lots of guess work from me. I had no idea kombucha wasn’t safe for pregnant women!
Since it’s a live, wild fermentation, it an contain unknown organisms. But I imagine that shop-bought, bottled kombucha is pasteurised.
Ah ok I see, very interesting
That too, but since it cleans toxins out of the body, some of these toxins can go to the baby. I didn’t explain it very well, lol. In general, if the woman has been drinking kombucha for a long time before pregnancy, a small amount probably won’t be that bad. However, it’s definitely not the right time to start drinking it for the first time while pregnant or breastfeeding. Thanks for playing the quiz! 🙂
8/10. I’m not what Kombucha is and i also got the caffeine one wrong. This is a great quiz for moms-t-be 🙂
Thank you very much! A little bit of kombucha should be fine if the woman has already been drinking it regularly before pregnancy, but it’s good to be careful.
4/10
Thank you so much for playing!
