fairy tales…

When Jakob and Wilhelm Grim published their first fairy tales in 1812, and then another in 1815, they had no idea that stories like “Ivica and Marica”, “Cinderella” and others would become the most famous in the world. However, few people today are familiar with the majority of stories from these two firsts, since they published six more editions in the next four decades, which were different in content and style.

From “King of the Frog” to “Golden Key” we go to wonderful worlds. Heroics and heroines are rewarded, poorer animals triumph over strong ones. It is a real pleasure to read the original stories and fairytales of the Brothers Grimm. They represent priceless gems for all generations of readers.

  1. I’ve been considering playing around more with animated stories. This post of yours might just be that nudge in the right direction. Thank you for sharing!
