  1. 3/10 , I think the extent of the coffee here, in the Auckland cafes is late, Chai late, Capperchino, Flat white, Moccachino and long black and hot chocolate and thats about it.

  3. My score of 3 suggests – quite correctly – that I don’t know much about coffee! I have never had anything other than a standard coffee – an Americano – so I clearly have no idea what I’m missing with all these varieties. I have always had a horror of a milky skin forming on coffee – which is what my father often produced when he tried to make it – so I’m not happy to try anything that involves combining coffee with hot milk!

    • If you are not into milk or cream, probably you aren’t missing that much. I have one of those cappuccino mixers and the milky skin is a pain to clean when it gets stuck in the mixer, so I usually remove it beforehand. I can’t drink coffee without milk though, I don’t like the taste much.
