Which is true about zebras? (One answer is actually true.)
-
They are black on white.
-
They are white on black.

I guessed white on black, beautiful animals.
You guessed correctly. They used to think it was the other way around, however.
I wonder what my library barcode reader would come up with ?!
When I was editing the photo I wondered if wildlife rangers could use them to identify an individual animal.
That would not surprise me. Wildlife documentaries make it quite clear that individuals can be told apart in many large animal species – and not just by fellow members of that species. So identifying zebras – although tricky – does not sound impossible.
This is indeed very good animal.
I’ve never been up close and personal with one but I’ve heard they are nasty tempered.
Zebras are great animals…I think I got the right answer white on black because underneath the white fur polar bears are black
They used to think that they were black stripes on white because their bellies were white but embryological studies show that they are really white stripes on black. You were right.
No matter what is the answer I like zebras. They are colorful and feisty at the same time… Great close up perfect picture…
Thanks, HistoryGal. I appreciate it.
You are welcome. At least you can post compared to a fair amount of other Virilyans.
