I am checking through some notes I’ve made concerning traditional copywriting, and as in article writing, so also in copywriting, your headline determines as much as 95% of the success of the article.
This statistic takes into account what makes the title successful; whether or not a person reads it or purchases it. Article marketing success on the internet must take into consideration how the article is discovered by readers.
Myth: Most people will read your articles because they came to a website and started browsing just like they do if they were at a local book store.
Fact: Most people search the Internet using one of the major search engines. They will type in between 1 to 5 keywords that are related to the topic of the article or information they are looking for that best match the person’s interest.
Goal: Find your articles in the search engine results for the keywords and topics that are most relevant to the content of your article. Most search engines give more attention to the first 3-5 keywords and a lower priority to the rest. The first 3-5 words of your Article Title determine the success of your article in terms of how much traffic it will generate back to your page. Therefore, create keyword-rich article titles that match the most commonly searched keywords for your topic.

When I first joined any site like this I did some research about this. Writing and cover photos. I read so many articles about this. I think it helped. Some other users have also helped me on this path. Key words are key! 😉 Thank you for this useful post.
I ran a few of my titles in this test. The highest score was a 47. lol It wanted to know my brand, for me to talk about the body, and add a celebrity. Doesn’t really work for my hikes.

Very interesting and useful facts. I always have trouble creating the title. I do not know what will attract readers.
Just take the titles you have used already, then paste it as it is into the app and from there, if your keywords are at the end of the headline, shift it to the front if you can.IE Vidocka’s recipe for homemade chocolate cake. It can be changed to a “Homemade chocolate recipe by Vidocka.” Have fun and reduce nasty “bounce” rates and get more traffic too.

I try my best when it comes to keywords. When we post an article should the keywords be those that best describe what we are writing about?
Yes, Sandra, you are more than half-way there. Your opening paragraph, (the hook) must draw your reader into reading the rest of your post. Keywords are not just words, they could also be a string of words called longtailed keywords. IE swimming, you include where possible any or all of these 6 key elements throughout your main body. All keywords do is make it easier for someone looking for specific information.

Now that you mention it Alex, I do notice them not appearing, so , yes. I mean why give me space for ten, then only publish 3 or4? Execting an explanation will be quite fruitless.

You mean like doing a keyword search in a database, but removing the ending of the word and adding an asterisk (*) to the end of the word?
I don’t understand why virily would remove some of you keywords
