Yet Another Plan

I plan my day. I have a to do list. I know what needs to happen. I post it on the wall so everyone can read. Finally today I simply tore it up. I succeeded with my morning habit and that was fabulous. I made breakfast and got ready to go to the ball game.

My brother announced that he had not done his laundry, he had just stuffed it in his  closet and didn’t want me to know about it. He then said he wanted me to stay home from the game and get his laundry done. My husband got up and made a list of things he needed me to run get at the store.

My nephew called to say he was coming up to get some help with his brakes. Work called and said there were some people who needed me there.

At that point I realized my well planned out day was a thing of the past and I would probably be better served just ripping it up and starting over.

  1. I am on vacation now (in addition to being retired) so there isn’t much that has to be done, but although I am not planning daily, I do have a list. I don’t need to check it to know golf is Tuesday.

  2. I keep the to do lists in my head and often cant do all on that list. I have 2 perfect sisters who perform that to do list perfectly. I can sometimes do it and other times, not.
