We have alamanda in two colours mauve and yellow. The yellow alamanda is planted all over the garden.
This alamanda cluster that you see in the image is no more. We had a mini tornado in the year 2015 when this robust vine fell to the ground. I am glad that I have a photo atleast to remind me about this cluster that had climbed right on top of our cinnamon tree.
We have yellow alamanda at other places in the garden but I do not think I could get a repeat of his robust creeper packed with flowers any longer.

I wanted to say that your Alamanda bush looks amazing , but the site just would load up for some reason.
I have enough space Dawn to give them this allowance. 20,000 sq. ft. minus the paths and ofcourse the two house that take some space (lol)

If you like Alamanda, then you need to plant it again. I can enjoy the flowers at my brother-in-law’s house and at my father’s grave complex.
I have experienced losing a lot of bonsai coz it was stolen, not because of bad weather or storm.
I have that all over the place but I do not think I will get this big cluster ever.
Cannot imagine anyone stealing your bonsai. Must be someone you know (lol)

Did you work on them yourself? That must have been a terrible loss.
90% of bonsai collection is my own making, so, yes… That’s terrible!
We are ready to accept nature’s fury but not when human beings have a role to play in that.

This cluster almost reached the sky.
This year I have lost some begonias and sedums to the rain. Last year I lost a whole lot of african violets.
This was my best cluster. I have others but nothing like this. We have to accept these losses as we can always get them back.
