We are almost at the halfway point of the first year of the reboot of the Xtreme Football League season. So far, the games have been better than expected. The new rules give a better flow to the football games. The access makes the games more interactive.
Two more games will be played today. The first game will be the Seattle Dragons (1-3) going on the road to play against the Houston Roughnecks (4-0). Fortunately for Seattle, the game will be on the road after a vendor at CenturyLink Field contracted Covid-19. Unfortunately for Seattle, the Dragons will have to find a way to give the unbeaten Roughnecks their first loss. The only way that Seattle can win if they begin coughing on the opposing team before each and every snap.
The second game will be the New York Guardians (2-2) going on the road to play against the Dallas Renegades (2-2). Although both teams are at .500, New York was rejuvenated after a win last week, while Dallas lost last week in a bid to acquire first place in the XFL West Division.

In Texas, they play other sports in high school just to stay in shape for football. High school football in Texas means everything to them. One high school was so desperate that they hired Art Briles even after the Baylor scandal.

in fairness, I lost track last week. I didn’t watch any of the games.
There will be losing views this month with college basketball, but they are still getting a good amount of TV views. I’m flipping back and forth between the XFL and college basketball.
so they have declined every single week with only week one being good.
Yeah, it won’t pick back up until the NCAA Tournament is over. Everyone will watch the playoffs.

It is crazy how Texas has two XFL teams. Damn, they really love football down there. Hell, not to mention two NFL teams too.
