X for Xmas – alibb’s alphabet crazy challenge

Since the year 1998 we have thrown Xmas parties for the less privileged at various locations.  The first party was at Solitaire our home  and this photo is from one of those parties.

We also invite a few others mostly from among the neighbours and friends who lend a helping hand at the party.

These kids have been taken to a park, a beach resort, their own Institute and there have been many parties at Solitaire. The last couple of years seniors from an old age were also invited.

Each party has a theme and the best one was when we had polka dots as the theme. Everything was polka dotted  including what the neighbours and friends wore. I just requested them and they obliged.  Such was the spirit.

For me Xmas is spending time with the less privileged.

Here is a video clip of one such party organised for the mentally challenged

    • I have a budget for these parties Dawn. I love doing this. There is so much of planning involved which starts right from August as most of bulk items I get from China. They have a wide variety to choose from
