Ghostwriter
As I did a lot of writing by hand during the outage I was reminded how it is much different than typing. You can certainly be more focused. I got 12 chapters done in the book, which I think is a record for one afternoon. I am sure I will find some issues, but the story line went well without the distractions that pop up on the computer. I am also reminded of how writing by hand really does access different parts of your brain, memory, and creativity. I believe you also remember more of what you write by hand. (I do wonder who many of the posts I had written for here will really be completed and added to the site or if it will just turn into paper beads. (I do thousands of things with paper beads.)
So when there is writing that doesn’t need to be kept they are turned into beads which are turned into many different things. I guess I would consider that another benefit.

I love writing by hand, and it always helps me when I am learning.
I use a bamboo folio (from Wacom) then I can write by hand, but later convert it into digital!!!!
