Some people enjoy forests or parks. I used to enjoy nature, but now it’s hard for me to spend time in nature. A walk in the forest would be relaxing for many people. But this makes me very anxious. I read that hugging trees has a huge benefit for us. It can help to improve our mood. I am not sure about that. I tried to hug a tree, but I haven’t noticed a difference. Would you like to have a walk in the forest? Have you tried to hug trees?

I love walking in the woods.
I am often walking about in the forest. Do you?
I live within a mile or two of England’s National Forest, and we take the dog for a walk there every Sunday morning. This is a new forest (not to be confused with the New Forest, which isn`t!) and many of the trees are relatively recent plantings. Even so, it is certainly a peaceful place to be, with very few other people around when we go there.
