Love ItLove It

Wonderful Wednesday – the wonderful nature of the stork.

Each year, in the spring, the white stork returns home, traveling thousands of miles to the birthplace.

Against the backdrop of people who are constantly leaving and never returning to their homeland, the migratory bird seems to be the largest, unconditionally loving patriot of his homeland.

In the days when many layers of people across Europe are getting in, leaving their nests to build them elsewhere on a foreign land, we look at the wonderland of the stork.

Just like a man to find livelihood, every year at the end of August the stork leaves the country and heads south to Africa. But the difference is that the bird returns and breeds again on its own, its place. Nests that have been used for hundreds of years can often be found.

As one of the most loved birds, the stork is a symbol of family, fertility, happiness.

  1. Lovely photo, I have heard of the Stork but never seen one before. I hope you post more photos of them.
We don’t have any near New Zealand as we are an island as large as Great Britain in the South Pacific Ocean

  2. Lovely picture, i like the way your reflections go, I wonder if real patriotism still exists with the younger generation.

  3. There is indeed a lot of them in our country. The size of the big rivers. One village in Banat-Sakule is called the village of Storks.
There here are almost every third house there.

    • In the villages of Bulgaria there are many families of storks. I watched them in the yards of the houses (this is one of them). At one railway station on the iron poles there were 20 nests. I’ll post them another day.

      • Then you have a lot of children hahaha … when I was little they taught us to get the stork bringing the kids … you know this?

  5. I have never seen a stork nest but would love to. What amazing facts you have shared, I did not know this about the storks. Great photo.
