Wild sunflowers in full bloom – September Pleasures JFF

I have wild sunflowers all over my garden and I always look forward to the end of August when they start to bloom through September and into fall.   These hardy perennials need very little attention and they give so much joy to anyone who sees them. The false sunflowers in my garden can reach heights of 9 feet. Their long stately stalks can withstand strong winds and it is a pleasure to watch them sway back and forth.  False sunflowers last a long time and make great cut flowers to brighten up your indoors.
