Why I do not like cake

I used to love cake especially during birthdays when the cake would be sliced and given to the guests. In most occasions and celebrations, there would be a cake on the dining or buffet table.

But when I reached middle age, my taste had changed and I started not to eat cake. The chocolate cake that I liked before is like so sweet for my mouth that I couldn’t finish even a very small slice. I just decided that I wouldn’t eat cake anymore.
