In the last few years, it has become almost normal for each young man’s departure, a birthday celebration or a passed exam to be filled with large amounts of alcohol. The trend of alcohol consumption among young people is on the rise, and this is indicated by numerous research in the world and in our country. According to the latest research by the European Commission, every fifth inhabitant of the European Union between the ages of 15 and 24 is drinking alcohol regularly and excessively.

It is such a dangerous world then when you add alcohol, it is never good.
Yes, alcoholism entails other problems.
This is a global problem that will not go away. The laws do not apply to him
laws exist, only they do not respect themselves, young people go to taverns of illegitimacy, they buy alcohol in shops, nobody asks them for years
It is a problem if they’re not drinking responsibly. But if they’re drinking irresponsibly then it would be a problem regardless of their age…
It is true, only that young people are a more risky group
That is generally the case, as they are less responsible in general…
Interesting poll! I agree that it is a serious issue.
Thank you,ellie925.Yes, that’s a serious problem
I am thankful that I am never tempted by alcohol, I don’t like the taste. I will have the occasional beer but rarely.
I’m glad to hear that…..
I found that in my younger days most of them were not allowed to drink any alcohol of any kind. As soon as they were allowed or if they could do it against the law they downed alcohol like it was their last drink on planet earth.
We used to have 6 O’clock closing in pubs in NZ a very long time ago. The guys would go and drink all they could. So many men they had to “Shout” to be heard so When someone “Shouts” for you, it means that they are paying your bill.
I grew up with wine and alcohol so it was no big deal to me. We were only given a drop with water or lemonade and told we were not to guzzle it down. That we swirl it around our mouths to appreciate the taste.
Hence I never liked drunken behaviour even as a young person.
Just didn’t think it was necessary.
it is good when it is regulated in a country by law, that alcohol is forbidden to young people. In my country, this is unfortunately not met. Young people of 18 years can buy alcohol.I would like to take more care of it. I am a person of alcoholics
Well, alcohol is best kept away from if you are an alcoholic . Drinking & driving is one of the most fatal problems in New Zealand.
Also on Queen St central Auckland, at night time many social problems arise because of drunkeness. Sad.
Yes, alcoholism entails other problems, violence, traffic accidents …
They don’t drink plain water nowadays.
Unfortunately, this is true, alcohol, energy drink … just not water
Is it a poll or topic that is serious about the fight against alcoholism?
poll, but this problem should be addressed more seriously
They are not aware of the disadvantages of the alcohol! They only want to have fun and forget about everything for a couple of hours!
Thank you for participating, I agree with you
