I did it again. After watching the ads again and again. I installed a mobile game called Raid on my cell phone.
I have been avoiding online MMORPG games like Mobile Legends and the likes…not that I don’t like these games, but I know that once I start playing it, I will be wasting a lot of my time playing.
In an MMORPG, players need to level up their players as fast as they can in order to keep up against players.
Although Raid is an online game, and it involves playing against other players in their PVP Arena, I can still play the game at my own pace, without worrying about being left behind on my character’s level.
Nevertheless, Raid is still a very addictive game. I installed the game out of curiosity, but after I installed the game and tried it out, I got hooked.
That leads me to ask several.questions…

I prefer not to try online games because I’m afraid they’ll get me hooked. ? I see my nephews. They sit at computers all day and play.
Same here. Online games are designed to get players hooked. I also see that in my nephews
I think I am fortunate to always be able to avoid it, even though invitations, attempt to influence and challenges keep coming. Thanks but no thanks.

I suspect there are many reasons why the games are so encompassing. Addiction is a real thing, and a huge problem.

are they? while I have heard that before, the studies don’t bear that out. The studies show attention spans are way down. But video games require supreme concentration.
Many teens are addicted for the adrenaline rush.
