Which Is Not Yet Known ~ Macro Monday

I have posted this fruit a few months ago. Unfortunately, until now I don’t know the name of the fruit, either in my language or in a local name, moreover in English.

Do you remember about this fruit? If the photo I shared earlier I took the vacant field during the day, this one I took the last night in my backyard. Yes, now these weeds are growing on my yard too.

I am still feeling curious about these plants, especially the fruit whose diameter is only about 2 millimeters.

  3. I am not sure. If it is edible, it could be wax apple or Java apple (known in my region as Champakka and in Philippines as Macopa).

  4. I remember the pictures, but unfortunately I do not know if that would be. Please do not try to find out the name of this plant. Maybe it’s poisonous.

  5. If you’re going to eat it, I rather you feed your cats or a rat or a dog…
if you think that’s cruel, then why be cruel to yourself?

  6. I never ever eat anything in the wild or a bloom in my yard even if someone tells me it is ok. Why take the chance of it being poisonous? The birds will enjoy it.

  7. I have no idea what this could be, dear friend …. if you do not know? I recommend that you do not try because you do not know … it can also be toxic

  8. I would say don’t taste this. you never know, there is a reason why the berries are so read. Either it is meant to kill you, or the plant wants its seeds spread around the world!

    • Is the name of the plant marongay the same as moringa oleifera? If what you mean is Moringa plants, I don’t know whether Moringa is fruiting and I’m sure it’s a different plant or not Moringa. If what you mean is not moringa (we call moringa as kelor) then you make me even more curious because when I search about marongay, I only found it in the Filipino language for Moringa plants.

  9. Check if the same plant is Vaccinium vitis-idaea. I can not index it well in the picture. If it’s what I give you as a name is very useful to the body.
