When you put yourself online …

I was with some friends at a gathering when the topic of social media/”putting yourself on internet” comes up …

Some believe if you do, you put yourself to criticisms and judgement and this is what you must be prepared …

Some believe its wrong to be negatively of others online, even if they choose to put their photos online …

The “debate” goes round and round – “it’s an opinion, my opinion!”, “but if it hurts someone, you shouldn’t express it!” blah …

This is basicaly about using the internet responsibly … what do you think?

  1. We will never be able to arrange or avoid the judgment of others when we appear in the public. Even all positive things can be judged negatively and vice versa. It all depends on the perspective of other people, also the intentions and desires of the comment giver. Beyond the behavior of others, we can lead and organize ourselves to become responsible and positive internet users.

So, appear or not on the internet, all each has risks and consequences. Even if we choose only to put ourselves in a dark corner like dirty laundry.

  2. This is supposed to be one of the entry for the challenge I set for myself that I must use photos/illustrations done by myself … but seems like Virily doesn’t agree and changed the cover image without informing me… not very respectful… but still …

Anyway, so I’ll have to take this out and then post another one to make up.
