When the street sweepers didn’t work

During the lockdown we had noticed that the streets were littered. Where are the street sweepers, we asked the community chief. He replied that the local government has no budget for the street sweepers so they are considered jobless during the lockdown.

I think the government is much focused on the restrictions without thinking that there are important services that should continue. In fact, the garbage was not collected for 2 weeks and it was collected only when the residents complained. Oh well, maybe the lockdown has a side effect to the mind of the mayors.
