The wall didn’t move
but the shadows did
and dancing
chased the tail of the
light. Chasing the
tail of light
across the floor
crashing into
walls that do not move
and spinning out of control
shards of light
and shadows dripping
with plaster of Paris
and filled
with flakes
of gypsum
falling to the floor
snow.
The walls don’t move.
but the tail moved
and the shadows chase
it.

I love watching light and music show. The best I saw was in Sentosa, Singapore. There was one in China too recently but I enjoyed the Sentosa more.
The best I’ve ever seen what a great post Pixie! For me, it was the rising sun over the ocean in Pattaya Thailand!
Been in several places in Thailand but not in Pattaya when it is closer to Bangkok than any of the place I had been to. Hmmm. Yeah. Where they conduct music and light shows, I noticed, you can also watch for the beautiful sunset. Nice combo eh.
For me the best sunsets are the ones over water. But all sunsets are beautiful!
True or ricefields. I think you saw some while living in Thailand. And hey sorry but I am in FB jail again so fading away for now. Will catch up when my ban is lifted. Lol!
What are you doing that FB keeps jailing you?
How about not paying promotional boost thereby preventing FB from earning? ??? I am luckier than other bloggers. I heard FB either close their accounts or prevent them from commenting and sharing their own posts. Carol told me her friends suffered the most and are into mass exodus out of FB. No one actually know the reason because FB does not give any explanation even if you beg for one just to be enlightened. Truth be told, I no longer care. After Niume, I learned not to be attached to Pixie so my principle is just to enjoy it while it last. Once the ban is lifted, I will try and experiment as to what kind of post triggers the bot to zap me. I have American friends who are also page owners in FB who advised me not to do anything to call those bots on me. The risk of course is that I might lose my page. But, methinks, that a virtual life lived in fear is no life at all. So I will gamble Pixie to see ?
Yes, often happens if you are by a tree in the backyard. A beautiful dance.
That is really true Pam, I hadn’t thought of it that way!
Nice write on shadows dancing.
Sometimes shadows show us more than just what is there.
Shadows can really dance. I usually watch them on the terrace.
🙂 that is so true! In dancing shadows show us things we may not otherwise see!
