What Do You Think About Recipes?

Websites like Virily can be a treasure trove of great recipes, cooking tips, nutritional information, and dietary knowledge. I personally love to cook and I’ve done it professionally. I enjoy coming up with new recipes or taking existing recipes and changing them to make them unique. I’m mindful of the fact that not everyone likes the same thing and that some people don’t like to cook at all.

Today’s poll is mostly for the benefit of anyone who has, will, or thinks about sharing recipes. The accumulated data here could be quite helpful for such people and for those who read what they write.

  1. I love recipes and cooking, and I have written a cookery book actually, which I am trying to have published. When I do, I will let you all know about it here on Virily!

    • I know quite a few people who don’t like cooking. I know people who don’t know how, too. As kids, we were continually encouraged to learn how to cook.

  2. I like to cook all kinds of food. My favorites come from my Grandmother’s cookbook which I have in my kitchen. It is one of the most special keepsakes I have. I keep it in a sealed bag because it is literally falling apart.
