Ask any dermatologist for the safest time for sun exposure and the answer will always be the same: the healthiest rays shine before 10 o’clock and after 4 o’clock. In this period, there is a lower incidence of UVB radiation, which causes burns and is the main risk factor for the development of skin cancer.
Although the information is spread to exhaustion, the beaches and swimming pools continue to be full of people at ‘wrong’ times. Whoever sunbath at these times of the strongest sun needs to wear a hat, resort to sun-protective clothing and stay under the umbrella.
Additionally, wearing sunscreen is always mandatory and more than once. The lotion should be applied every time you dive or if there is excessive sweating, for example.

I’m going to the beach, but I’m very little sunny. I enjoy the shade.
Unfortunately a lot of people forget about this.
I always go to the beach early in the morning and usualy i am back home by 11am.
Early in the morning are the best time to go to the beach.
I am not a big beach person. But when I was, I followed these rules.
That is great, thank you Carol 🙂
I go to the beach when it’s not so hot. I do not like big heat.
When is too hot I prefer to stay inside.
Very interesting. I heard Sun radiation are lower before 12 and after 17. But that is it. I avoid sun during day.
What you heard is correct, between 12 and 17 we shouldn’t stay in the beach.
