What a Difference 63 Days Makes

Yesterday Carol DM said something that made me think and reconsider the way I have been approaching Virily. it was something about doing the same thing over and over. A light went off in my brain and I remembered the 63 days.

It was a study I read about and was quite interesting to me. If you do or don’t do anything for 63 consecutive days it’s become a habit. Assuming the study I read is correct we’ve made a lot of Virily habits intentionally and unintentionally. “If you want to take back your life and feel like you are in control of somethings, recreate your life 63 days at a time.

My first 63 days begins today. If I can do it anyone can do it.  I believe I started this once before and stopped because it was redundant. I think I have found a way to refreshen it up.

I attempted to tell my husband about it and after about a thirty-minute discussion he said “So you are building a cacoon and coming out a butterfly.”

“Well, kind of” I am intentionally making changes more permanent every day to learn, grow, and improve our lives.

“What do you mean our lives?”

“Everything we do affects other people. There is no way to stop that. You are an influence intentionally or not. I want to do positive things and create positive changes.”
