Light is the basis of photography but sometimes the absence of light is also important when we take a pictures. The alternation of lights and shadows in a photo can have stunning results on a composition. By their intensity, the shadows are bearers of information about the time and space in which a particular event takes place and they can establish the atmosphere in the frame.
I took this picture during the Resurrection service at Targoviste Metropolitan Church for Wednesday Shadow Challenge.
