Sharing an interesting photo with Wednesday’s Shadow challenge. I captured the shadow from my smoke bush in the front yard. At the same time there is a male and female robin with food in their mouth. Can you see them in the photo?
You have to look closely to see the second robin. He is blurred at the top of the photo. I could have added this photo to my Backyard Bird Quiz I did earlier. That means I will have to do another quiz soon.
I was only planning to get the smoke bush. What a pleasant surprise to see these two walking along the sidewalk. They have babies nearby in an evergreen tree. And there is another nest in the backyard with babies. Birds and babies are everywhere this year.

Good one Carol. I managed to see the second Robin easily.
Congratulations. This photo takes a lot of time and patience. Everyday there are wonderful photo situations for you.
Aww, that’s beautiful. I spotted both the little birds! And how cute! I love birds.
Thank you, it was an exciting moment for sure.
what a great capture, Carol. Two for One bonus bird!
Thanks, sometimes the unplanned ones are the best.
Nice click of innocent birds .
Thanks, I was clicking the shadows and there were the birds!
I thought they were carrying the materials to build their nest!? Very nice capture.
I could not get any closer to get a better photo without them flying away. It does look like nesting material. But it was worms and food for babies in the tree nearby.
Beautiful shadow photograph , thanks for sharing. I guess this image a sign of lonliness
Thanks, but I see the shadows as beauty. Do you see the birds? They have food in their mouth taking it to their babies nearby.
Great chance to see you took the opportunity to catch these birds, well done
It was not planned, a surprise indeed Pam.
The picture is magnificent.
You are kind and god to see you!
Thank you.
Am glad you think so. Nobody really knows how and what they are
Do you mean the birds? They are robins.
Nice capture, Carol. I guess the other one was just a “photo bomber”. A welcomed one as that. hehe
Yes they both were really. No planned.
I always welcome birds in my photos.
Good to see you.
Very nice captures indeed my friend. Looks like they enjoyed dinner.
The dinner was for the babies. Thanks.
Its always wonderful to know that there are birdies all around. Parents are parents whether they are birds , animals or humans.
I have more birds and babies this year than ever. So exciting.
Seems both of them were enjoying delicious meals. This is an impressive photo!
They were taking the food to the babies nearby in a tree.
Two robin nests in my yard this year.
Thanks!
Ohh.. I see… That’s an impressive lesson and knowledge for me…
There are so many stages to bird watching. I love seeing them all unfold in my yard.
Beautiful picture. I see both birds. I can not photograph one bird, but you two succeeded ?
Appreciate you so much. I wasn’t planning on the birds but excited to see them.
Great that you caught both of them. I love your birdy pictures :o)
Thank you, yes it was by accident.
I see both birds, dear friend
Oh good, pretty cool right! It is hard to photograph birds especially when they are feeding their babies.
I believe and I know from practice and you have to have a lot of patience, which I do not have …. I do not like being hunted and waiting
I was taking the photo of the shadows. The birds just happened to be there, no planning needed here!
That’s a very nice photo. yes, I see both birds, and they are cute.
Thanks, they were walking away from the camera.
