Wearing gloves for further protection against the virus

It is now mandatory to wear a face mask when going out to a public place. Failure to do so can cause one to be arrested because it is like a crime not to wear a face mask. The emergency law is created to mitigate the spread of the covid-19 virus.

But lately some people are wearing gloves in the supermarket. Their reason is that a carrier might have touched an item that later on they will touch. At least their hands would be safe from the virus. But on the contrary, some people say that if the gloves have a virus then it can even spread easily unless you throw the gloves after using.
