With the onset of the rainy season my waterlilies have started to multiply rapidly. There are I am sure 50-60 plants in each tub. The tubs are just 11/2 feet in diameter, so not very big.
This increase in the number of plants has lead to the increase in the number of flowers everyday and the flowers are getting smaller too.
Cleaning the waterlily tub and repotting the plants is a huge headache. I do it once in 6 months to avoid overcrowding of plants. I have no more containers to plant these. It breaks my heart to kill them. Nobody wants them either. I am wondering if I can sell them on Amazon or something. I have to find out what that involves.

Water lilies aren’t surely easy to grow.
Do you grow these water lilies? I am curious to learn more.
Yes, I do dear Lacho59
That’s really awesome!
I love seeing these at the parks.
These can be grown in a small tubs . 1feet x 1feet.
Beautiful water lilies , thanks for sharing
Thanks witty feeds for stopping by and your words of encouragement.
One of the lakes we used to go canoeing in, was overrun with water lilies.
True, these plants can become like weeds.
they can, in many cases it is part of the transition for bodies of water. When the silt allows the bottom to rise, the water Lillies help the conversion back to dry land!!
Water lilies are such beautiful flowers, dear friend … I occasionally see them on a pond not far from my home
Hmm.. so you have these flowers growing pretty close to you!!
Yes, there are many in the nearby pond, dear friend
We had a pond with different coloured water lilies. We buried the pond after we spotted a snake in there.
I have these on my terrace.. so no fear of snakes or other reptiles.
That is a wise idea. May be I too will do it that way.
