Alzheimer’s abounds this morning! Anyone who has lived with someone who has Alzheimer’s will understand this post. Others may not. Some will give it much broader meaning than is intended and at the end of the day, it matters not.
“Did you say something?”
“Yes.”
“Were you talking to me?”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“It just wasn’t meant for you, it was meant for another?”
“Why?”
“You are not the only person on the planet. I love you the most and I speak with others.”
“I don’t understand what you are saying.”
“You don’t need to because it wasn’t directed at you.”
“Are you talking to me now?”
“Sure, what do you want to talk about?”

I have come a cross many since I am in medical profession.
That is probably true and I bet you have seen many stages.
I have never met anyone with Alzheimer directly, but I know my friend’s mom has it, so I heard a lot about this disease.
I think different people handle it in different ways. I know I have learned to adjust a lot.
A very difficult situation.
It is what it is, I am trying to see it as just another stage of life.
