She is just so used to being around human that she doesn’t even care to wake up when I get quite close to snap a photo!
Shocking thing is, I recently found out that our country ban cats as pets in flats! Meaning those living in HDB flats can’t actually be caught keeping a cat as pet!! OMG! This is truely “wacky”!

It is quite ridiculous? What is their reason for passing the law?

That is still weird. Then they should ensure there is no noise whatsoever that will disturb any tenant.
Ouch, that would be sad for cat lovers who are living in the condominium.
I;m not so sure about condominium but flats owners can’t rear cats … unless you do it secretly … LOL

Basically the reason are what cats does everyday at the void deck of my block … which to me is no different whether they’re kept indoors as pets or not … LOL

cat carries so many disease and viral infection
I can’t deny that they do carry bacterial and virus but a healthy person getting sick from them is quite low
hence its important to protect yourself.
i suspect there are many reasons why cats are banned.
I do know that it is frustrating, but there are always two sides.

it is kind of well, not well thought out!
Some apartment do have those regulations here as well. The apartment I lived in had some people who had cats and they would never clean out the litter box. That would mean that that the whole place would smell bad. Later we figured out that they had 8 cats.
I agree with you and with your reasons that irresponsible people shouldn’t keep pets but I’m not really convinced by the reason given on the website.
But oh well, law is law… I don’t intend to keep pets or cats … but I just find the reasons quite funny.
