In beautiful sunny and warm weather, I took the time and visited the zoo in Ljubljana. The Ljubljana Lifestyle Garden was opened on March 10, 1949. The first cages were located in the center of Ljubljana on Kolodvorska Street near today’s RTV Slovenia. In 1951, he moved to today’s area – the southwestern part of Rožnik, where it occupies 19.6 hectares of area. The zoo is located in the natural forest and meadows and is part of the protected landscape park Tivoli, Rožnik and Šišenski hrib. Before the entrance to the ZOO there is a statue of a bull, the work of sculptor Janez Boljka.

So nice day in the zoo, lucky you!!! Don’t have a zoo in my town but sometimes visit the zoo in Moscow, the impressions are always unforgettable.
In Moscow, you surely have at least 1x if you do not have a larger zoo anymore … and there are probably a lot more animals to see
In Bulgaria there are, but here in Spain are Zoo parks.
Thank you for viewing and friendly comments ….
before i was a fan of zoo, now not anymore, because i hate to see animals in cages. i enjoy more of national parks though and see wild animals still roaming around
Unfortunately, we do not have national parks so that we only have to visit the zoo if we want to see wild animals
I agree with you, I used to love them, but lately they make me sad.
Sadly, that’s just the way it is dear Ellie
if only we can keep them without caging them. ???
It would be nice just for some species it may already be too late
so true …you know the national parks here still keep some animals. proaching is not allowed as much as possible.
I know and believe, and we can only hope that it’s not all too late
I went to the zoo to write an anthropology paper, but I haven’t been back since
Thanks for seeing and kind comment
thanks for bringing back fond memories
Thank you for your visit my friend
you are welcome as always
So glad that you have good weather and a chance to have fun, dear friend.
Unfortunately, I haven’t visited the zoo for a long time.
You have so many animals around you that you do not need to visit the zoo dear friend
Hahayyy… There are only small creatures around me…
What if I went a little deeper into the forest? I would probably meet and see a lot … I see the only rabbit, maybe some fox and roe
Which is more interesting for you, going into the forest or going to the zoo?
As far as animals are concerned, I find it more interesting in the zoo where I see animals that do not live in our country … and the zoo is in the natural environment … so to speak in the woods
It had to be a very nice walk. I’ve already visited the zoo.
It was a nice walk in beautiful sunny weather dear friend
Yes, as I have said I have done a beginners photography course at the Auckland Zoo and I joined as a member for a year so now I can go anytime for free.
The beginners course was to learn about my camera and technical skills it was worth it.
That was probably very interesting and instructive … great
We have a zoo here … but its quite expensive so we only visit when there are promotions :p
Even here, it’s not cheap, we only have a discount because we are pensioners
Good for you visiting the zoo. I love seeing the zoo animals.
Glad to finally see your post approved. 🙂
Thank you dear friend…I finally got a release … it took exactly 8 days
Wow that is sway too long to wait.
Glad to finally see it published.
I hope it will be better now
