Updates:
- I have not heard anything back from the admin team regarding the create issue. My apologies for that.
- I wanted to reassure everyone that has reached out to me about the comments of other authors. I sent along with the feedback to the admin team, but I did not include the names of people (other than me as I sent the data to the admins). Please feel free to continue to reach out. I won’t share your name with either the person in question or the admin team. I will reach out to the person in question and attempt to get them to understand that they have possibly been commenting a bit harshly. So far, of the eight people that I’ve been contacted about, five are being much nicer in their comments. Three remain steadfast in the lack of their office. Not much we can do about that.
- I haven’t heard back from the admin team on the concept of new accounts for older users. I am working through a theory right now as to the original problem. But it should be noted that authors that have new accounts can publish posts. If you still cannot create, you can create a new account. Note, there is no guarantee that you merge your old account into your new account.
The admin team released a bunch of new blogs on Sunday. I was able to hit my goal of 30 new blogs read for the day. I am not sure how much longer I can keep that up. During the traditional work week, I have a lot less time. We shall see, but I did manage to read 30 new blogs a day for the past four days! Thank you to everyone that submitted materials! I enjoyed reading all and commented on 30 plus new blogs today!
This is my last Virily update for a few days. I am going to go back to focusing on technology blogs for the next few days. I get burned out on these updates, so I will walk away for a few days to recharge!

About the article. Thank you for the update. I hope that they can merge the two accounts in some way. I think I would make a new account if I were effected. This problem has lasted way to long.

Thanks for following up the issue with Virily and updating us. It’s good if Virily allows the users to merge their accounts because of this “create button” issue.
I haven’t really follow any technology blogs since I became a stay-at-home mom. My focus has been shifted. 😀
I got rid of the satellite TV subscription and even my TV a few years ago. ^_^
i still have a cable subscription, but I work for the phone company. I follow many different tech blogs!
I have just come back after being inactive quite sometime. I do still have my original account here.

We are hoping slowly but surely, there have been a couple really bad issues recently.
Sorry I am not aware of it. Anyway it’s a welcome move if it’s for the good of this site.
I don’t think it is for the best of the site. It has damaged the site I suspect.
Hoping that will be addressed properly to save the site from its integrity.
It has been 20 days so far. No fix in sight.
I hope they sort out the create issue soon and add the earnings from the old account to those who have created new accounts.

I have chosen to stick around until the new year. I no longer expect anything short of a miracle and therefore feel that in January if I have managed to land some writing gigs I will have time for sites which offer me both a creative outlet and a way to socialize so for me it might be red sails into the sunset. I do not want to lose all of my posts that I worked so hard on to create and have a new account just like starting over. I am using RasmaSandra as my professional writing name online and I would want to keep that. Two questions – how much do I have to change to make another account and what happens if I make another account and still am not able to post?????

Create that account and you will be able to post.
Now on the issue of the posts you have and the progress you have, that is something I do not know.

It only hurts me because they lie that this is a technical problem … this has been going on for almost three weeks now … and in 3 weeks they can’t fix the error? So much so, I’m not naive and stupid again….you are, however, so and so deserving of the Nobel Prize for your hard work, dear friend
actually i am worried that it is a technical problem, the fact that they can’t fit it in three weeks leads me down a very dark path. I am not going there.
