I was surprised when I opened Virily this morning and saw the new look.
The first thing that I noticed is that the number of virils is now displayed when you click (tap) on the profile button on the top right of the screen.
When I clicked on the Notifications, the looks also has changed. Plus some of the old notifications that I wanted to delete were already gone.
The dashboard also displayed the earnings (in dollars)from yesterday with the number of virils earned. I hope this is now updated daily.
The number of virils displayed however is not getting updated… For, after reading and commenting on a couple of posts, I did not get any new notifications.
For now, I can say, Congrats to the admins and developers for the update. However, the changes may have triggered a few glitches. Which I know you can fix in not time.

They have fixed many known bugs and left some things untouched.
Polls are fixed in that you no longer have to start the poll add a picture, refresh and add remaining content. that’s good.
the actual polls are not fixed.
True. And I don’t have to resize the photo anymore. In the past of I don’t reduce the size, I would get an HTTP error in uploading the photo most of the time.
And my polls.would often have duplicate question. I see that in other polls too.
the other poll bug is the yes only answer (instead of yes/no). overall frustrating.
Yeah, i encountered that in at least one of the polls. :(.
i do understand completely that a site like Virily is really hard to maintain and manage.
i just don’t know anymore.
I think this is the initial look and it will get better once finalized the complete up gradation
Let’s hope so. But as Carol pointed out in her post, the admin should at least give us a heads up on what’s working and what’s not…
The only thing that they have not touced is on the poll and quiz templates. There are still hiccups.
Yeah… Let’s hope they iron out the wrinkles soon.
Yeah. I have noticed it when I clicked virils above the notification link today. But I think I tried clicking yesterday and nothing happened.
Probably they are working on the changes in the fly
Not sure if I like it or not, still not sure what all is going on. I know we can edit posts, etc, but still many things not complete it seems. And only Virily will have the answers. Other members will try to say they know, but we will eventually find out the whole picture. This has happened before, but maybe this time we will get better results.
Yeah. Well, for now, we can explore the new changes and post about it to help the other members…
I have not noticed any glitch on my side. The virils are updated on a separate section different from the comments. There are two notifications: the one showing virils status (e.g. 567 virils) and the other showing comments and the option of deleting them.
Yeah… I think, separating the viril count frbm the other notifications has its benefits.
Yah, separation the two was a good step. It makes differentiating counts from comments easier.
