In the olden days, the vegetable salad is a garnishing or side dish to prevent boredom in the meat dishes. But now we admit that the vegetable is nutritious and good for our health so that the vegetable salad has become popular. For people who are on a diet to lose weight, the vegetable salad is one good way of removing toxins from the body together with the excess weight.
My favorite vegetable salad is Caesar’s salad. However, there is mayonnaise in the dressing which is not good when you are on a diet. The best dressing is the ranch dressing which has only vinegar and seasoning for added flavor. Mixed with leafy green vegetables, the ranch dressing makes for a better vegetable salad in terms of nutrition.
