Upgrades are not necessary. But daily needs are

Now that technology has taken centre stage all and sundry are looking for  ways to make money by offering upgrades to the gullible public. Those upgrades will replace the old gadgets and no spare parts for repair would be made available forcing the public to go for them.

Every day practically we hear of mobile upgrades  some having been introduced with 5 cameras and yes there is demand for them not from professional photographers but from the upwardly mobile  This is just a tip of the ice berg.

Countries are vying with each other to own other planets while the earth is reeling with neglect. These is so much one can do to ensure each and every one gets their daily needs if only that money is not squandered to try and land on the moon or other planets. Trillions are spent and till now nothing, let me repeat nothing has come out of it.

It is not in the hands of those companies or country heads who are trying to fool the world but in the hands of the individuals who can change the scenario by putting their foot down.  The mega role of an individual cannot be under estimated.

I am playing a small role. I do not go for upgrades. You can too.

    • We in India are busy putting up statues and trying to reach the moon. They also have plans to send a woman in space. Waste of money – just pomp and glory

    • If the public do not applaud when such things are attempted that could dissuade them from squandering Our PM has built a statue and shameless says it is taller than Statue of Liberty.
