Two tech items I am going to review over the next few weeks. The first is the new Apple iPod touch. The second item is the Smark Language translator. Both teams were gotten over the past couple of weeks. In part because I am missing my media player (Zune) and in part, because I like having access to my media without chewing up my phone or iPad battery. With the rise of portable projectors, the size of the screen is no longer relevant. Now it is, do you have the cable and connection to your portable projector? Watch for those reviews in future columns!
I am going to dive deeply into the question of how do you improve your views on Virily as well. A high-level discussion of three critical points today before I move on.
1. Do you average more than 500 virils a day?
2. How often do you comment on the posts of others?
3. Do you care about upvotes?
The last one is one I’ve heard about a few times. There are sites on the interest that pay authors based on upvotes. Virily doesn’t pay you or not pay you based on upvotes. You make the most Virils for comments (you get a read and a comment 3 Virils). But overall, the up or down vote of content isn’t something that impacts.
It is an ego thing; I do understand that. I’ve had content downvoted; I always figure the person didn’t like it. Oh well!
The other hard part for the Movers list project now is the loss of the referral Virily. Without that time stamp, it will require more effort to figure out the impact of sharing a post on Social Media. I used that stamp to determine exactly when the share occurred and what would happen after that share. Now without that, it is more about making sure the people in the movers project to capture that time.I will post more tomorrow on how to grow your views on Virily!]

I have no idea how many virils I make per day, I do what I can and also want to do other things than be on the computer. I am Jack of all trades and master of none. Do it yourself…
However, I enjoy meeting the people here, you included, as I have been paid in another way other than money and learned so much.
i find the community to be a bigger draw than the money as well! thanks Pam!!!
The last one that shows my dashboard for April is 9635. For 30 days, that means I have an average of 320 per day.
that is a great total – thanks for sharing!
Actually, I never count virils, it would be a waste of time. Virily will do it for me at the end of the month.
Do you ever see your end of month total and divide by the days, to see what your rate is?
i read 500 when I am on the site but most often i am busy with other online work, so I guess on an average i make less than 500 virils. I’d like a link to how to become a verified user if that is possible , thanks
Thanks – it can be a lot more time here to earn at first. I’ve noticed it takes a good 6 months to build a solid earning base here.
I seldom reach 500 virils because of the limited time that I have. But I find Virily very entertaining so I try to visit even it means a few minutes in a day. As of now, I am working on other projects so I might not be able to submit new posts. But I still visit the site and would try to leave comments whenever possible. Topics on new technology always interest me.
🙂 I love your tech posts.
Time is interesting, I spend less time now on Virily then I did a few months ago.
Upvote also works for me (like ahol 888) which posts I have already read. I have not received 500 virilies a day
I was trying to figure out the highs and average. I think 500 was set as a really high mark. More questions today focused on more attainable goals!
Upvotes are important I agree. How do you feel if someone downvotes your post?
So far, I’ve noticed only one example of downvotes. I must admit that I was not pleasant.
I have gotten a few over the last 3 years. Your right, of course, it is not pleasant!
Very informative , but i can give limited time to virily platform ,so I haven’t got more virilies.
we are community, give what you can when you can!
I usually do exceed 500 virils but I am on here more than I should be. I need to take more breaks. What do you mean by are polls fixed?
that is my new test to see if the polls are fixed. Since it doesn’t have a yes or no vote, polls are still not fixed!
Got it, just checking. 🙂
Interesting, by the way, the yes no are back for the test question!
I don’t have an issue if someone downvotes my post. I understand that person doesn’t like my post for various reasons which is understandable.
I have never reached 500. I hope one day I will.
And, I didn’t see that post by Virily Editor.
The post by the editor is pretty old (3 years give or take).
I agree with you on either upvotes or downvotes!
Thanks. I will check it.
easy way is to go to their page (Virily Editor) and search there!
Very informative post, dear friend … I have never exceeded 500 Viriliyev … just in case one of them opened 100 posts….and verified members do not approve it anymore …. even if you write them no answer
They do not do verified users often anymore, I agree. One of the problems they have I suspect is that there are a number of people that could be, verified, but they haven’t moved them over.
In truth, I do not even burden myself with this … it’s fine when you can post when you do not want to wait for approval … for the weekend so and so there is nothing ….
i understand. it is a process and I don’t think they have the same number of admins that they used to have.
The upvote works for me as a marker to let me know if I read another person’s post or not so that the other person receives more virils.
Yes, the reading and commenting provide the Virils. Upvoting simply allows you to say if you liked or didn’t like the content.
Nice system! I like that!
