University Clinical Center Ljubljana (abbreviated as UKC) is a public health institute that “carries out secondary and tertiary health care activities, as well as educational and research activities. With 8,210 employees and 2,166 hospital beds, it is the largest healthcare institution in Slovenia and one of the largest in Central Europe. In educational and research activities, he primarily cooperates with the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Medicine. The ceremonial inauguration of the clinical center was on November 29, 1975. One of the very significant events that took place at this center on May 4, 1980 was the death of longtime SFR Yugoslavia President Josip Broz Tito.

  1. i had shoulder surgery in the hospital around 2 years ago. Actually two years ago this week to be exact.

    We have many hospitals like this. I suspect you would find one in every country in the world.

    I was wondering if you would mention the other Tito who was being treated there.
    I saw it in the end.
    To add that in Serbia we think it is one of the best clinical centers in the Balkans.
