I’ve been delivering parcels in my neighbourhood on a part time basis… What happen is that the driver would drop parcels that are in my area at my door and I’ll deliver them.
When I received the bag of parcels, it came attached with a paper (like PO or invoice) with my contacts (including full name and phone number!) and then the full address of the buyer and their phone number!!
So you see, if I were to just dump the paper away (like most would do) then I’m leaking lots of information, and not just of myself but others!
Another thing is that, these information are written on the parcels too! If you were to just dump them away, you’re also leaking your information!

I was taught to tear all the sensitive info from papers. I’m quite paranoiac. ?
Actually I do the same… for parcels, I “colour” (block them off) with marker on both sides.
for letters, I tear them, sometimes I block them out with marker before dumping them.
Right, covering with marker is sometimes the only way possible, and hopefully it works. Tearing parcels is difficult most of the time.
