Turnip – great vegetables

Today, the weather is no longer so pleasant, but I still walked around my home. Flowers still bloom in the meadows. In the field were also farmers who were harvesting the last year’s harvest – turnip.

The turnip is the most commonly enjoyed in winter. It is rich in vitamins and minerals, but at the same time, it has a very low-calorie value. Many studies have shown that eating vegetables such as turnips reduces the likelihood of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease. The turnip also contains fiber and probiotics, which has a beneficial effect on digestion. The tail can be stored in a damp place, most often it is vinegar. I have a turnip very much, whether it’s raw or acidic.

  1. That is a beautiful turnip, vidocka, and I love them, and especially like the turnip pickles from my favorite Lebanese restaurant. I mean to learn how to make those soon.
