Tulips are pretty while they last. Like most things in life, they never last long enough. But I enjoy the tulip blooms each year. They are one of the first plants to bloom.
I snapped this photo of my orange tulips with my phone while out walking around a few days ago. Caught some tulip shadows to share with today’s Shadow challenge. They are almost gone now.

Thanks, it was a quick snap, you learn to stay out of the way. 🙂 They are gone now for the year. Only last about two weeks usually.
I knew they had a very short season, I did not realize it was only two weeks. My wife (her family is from Holland) loves them more than any other flower!
Well it depends on the weather too.
There is a flower store about a 1/2 mile from us, he always puts aside 12 tulips for me once a month.
Wonderful tulips, dear Carol … and they will still be with us for a little while….yes very little time to bloom beautiful flowers wither quickly …
